Terms of Service

By creating an account, pairing a device, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and "you" refers to that organization.

VibeSync is a bridge between your VS Code environment and your mobile device. It allows you to monitor AI coding sessions, approve or reject actions proposed by AI assistants, and send prompts remotely.

The Service is provided as-is and may evolve over time. We may add, remove, or change features without prior notice, subject to the notice obligations below.

Authentication is handled via OAuth2 providers (currently GitHub and Google). You are responsible for maintaining the security of the identity provider account you use to sign in.

You agree to provide accurate information, keep your devices secure, and promptly revoke access from any device you no longer control.

You agree not to use the Service to violate any law, infringe intellectual property rights, or attempt to disrupt the Service's infrastructure.

You will not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

You are solely responsible for the prompts you send, the actions you approve, and any code changes resulting from your use of the Service.

VibeSync forwards messages, suggestions, and action requests between your AI assistant and your devices. We do not author, verify, or endorse the content generated by third-party AI assistants.

You are responsible for reviewing any action before approving it. Approving destructive operations (such as deleting files or running shell commands) is at your own risk.

The Service, including its source code, design, and branding, is the property of VibeSync or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You retain all rights to the code, prompts, and content you submit through the Service. We claim no ownership over your work.

The Service integrates with third-party providers such as GitHub, Google, and AI assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for the availability, content, or practices of third-party services.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VibeSync will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, lost profits, or business interruption.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).

You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the extension and the mobile app and revoking OAuth access from your identity provider.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if required by law. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you when practical.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you via the Service.

Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of your place of residence to the extent required by local consumer protection rules, and otherwise by the laws applicable to the country where VibeSync is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
